Welcome to the Talentis newsletter for September!<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Once again, we\u2019ve got plenty to report on the Talentis front. We delivered a lot in August and expect to see significant additional developments in the coming days\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delivered and imminent:<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As always, a lot of the work we do is under the hood. However, among the more visible changes you\u2019ll see next time you login (or imminently\u2026):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve redesigned the assignment record. You\u2019ll now have more space available for your candidate lists, with the side bar information moved to a separate tab. We\u2019ve added additional fields and we have more to follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An example of this is “assignment ownership” (which team members own or are part of the team on any particular assignment), which will be helpful for navigating directly to your assignments  – you\u2019ll also see we\u2019ve also given you the opportunity to start recording financial data (fees, salaries, etc) and this will all be used alongside the ownership information to support KPI reporting later. And, yes, we\u2019re adding the client logo to the Assignment record!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In prerelease is a redesign of the Person record. Again, it\u2019s about streamlining your experience and giving you the ability to store the key data you require. We\u2019ve also made it possible for you to manually update data on a person\u2019s profile if their LinkedIn profile is out of date (and, don\u2019t worry, any edits you make are only available to you and your colleagues!). Feedback welcomed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re evaluating interest in the ability to post jobs to GatedTalent and LinkedIn and have added a very basic job upload feature to the Assignment record. We\u2019ve mentioned this previously, but if you are not sure what\u2019s involved, please speak to your Client Success Manager<\/a><\/strong>. It\u2019s been well received so far, and so we are likely to enhance the functionality further. Give it a go!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Up next:<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We know how annoying it is when you find \u201cthe perfect candidate\u201d \u2013 only to discover much later that they’re off limits! We\u2019re adding the ability to make individual people or entire organizations \u201coff limits\u201d and you\u2019ll see this immediately when you view a person or company record \u2013 in search results, in an assignment, or anywhere else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Talking about \u201cfinding the perfect candidate\u201d \u2013 we\u2019re adding the ability to find similar candidates based on a template. So, if Jane Smith is ideal but not available, we\u2019ll show you candidates who share similar characteristics with Jane. Again, we use OpenAI (the technology behind ChatGPT) along with our own, proprietary, tech to deliver this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you find a good candidate but can\u2019t reach them, finding mutual connections is often really useful. We\u2019ll soon be adding \u201cformer employees\u201d to the company record to help you make exactly these connections (and, yes, it\u2019s all automatic. No typing!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re doing a big project with our data pool. This will take several months to deliver but will allow us to offer even more search filters and will improve search speed (we are aware of occasional slowdowns on the platform when it is under heavy load \u2013 this should mitigate that), but please do keep in mind that we are searching across 559M profiles \u2013 that\u2019s a lot of data!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The World Executive search Congress<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are pleased to announce that we are hosting the World Executive Search Congress, which takes place virtually on October 17 & 18 \u2013 full details here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
