Welcome to the February 2024 Talentis Newsletter!<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Since we last wrote, the big update in Talentis is the release of resume parsing. Many of our clients use Talentis to manage the entire search process, and in this context, being able to create records for people who are not on LinkedIn (or who have very basic profiles) is vitally important.<\/p>\n\n\n

The functionality is available now, with enhancements expected in the coming days. Check this training video in the app<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our parsing functionality uses the industry leading parsing technology, but has a UI which is unique to us. Ours is based on the concept that \u2013 in Talentis \u2013 many candidates will have well populated records even before the resume arrives. As a result, we\u2019ve made it really easy to merge existing data with new \u2013 users can drag and drop an entire job role from a resume or simply a job description. We\u2019re really proud of it. Upcoming enhancements will make it easier for you to begin the process from inside Outlook or via the Chrome Extension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside the parsing, we\u2019ve added a host of new fields to the Person record \u2013 including skills and education history. We\u2019ll be adding a new overview page soon, to allow you to see all of the key information on a person from within a single screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve also launched a beta version of our \u201cAI Engagement tool\u201d. This is designed to help with candidate (and potential client) engagement \u2013 it\u2019s in its very early stages currently, but we\u2019ll provide more information next month. The last month also saw us add our new “training hub<\/a>” with a growing number of training videos, along with a host of small improvements and enhancements.<\/p>\n\n\n

A number of users have asked us about the well-publicized changes that LinkedIn has made to public profiles<\/a>. We don\u2019t scrape LinkedIn data and instead license all of the information in our TalentGraph from third party data brokers. We are in constant contact with our partners and we continue to receive regular data refreshes; we\u2019ll shortly also be integrating a new vendor who provides data from a far broader range of sources!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also coming soon: <\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our developers are now nearing the end of a major technical restructuring project \u2013 that should complete in early March. Once this is finalized, you can expect to see a significant increase in our delivery velocity. Upcoming features will range from significant improvements to our company screen to minor user requested enhancements such as \u201cclick to dial\u201d along with more options for client reporting. We\u2019ll also be releasing an integration with GatedTalent which will allow Talentis users to access around 2,000 fresh resumes every month!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
