What Will You Be Doing

The Sr. Director Strategic Business Systems is a key strategic leadership position within our IT organization, acting as a senior subject matter expert on the company’s core business systems (including MedTrac, our proprietary home health and utilization management application, Brightree, Kinnser, and HealthEdge HealthRules Payer core claims platform). This role is responsible for developing deep functional and technical expertise and providing strategic insights and recommendations regarding the business systems landscape. Working closely with the CIO and the Sr. VP Technology and IT Operations, and business leaders, the Sr. Director will help define technology components of business strategy. This role acts as a true business partner, understanding operational needs and educating stakeholders on how technology, including automation and GenAI, can drive efficiency and cost savings.

The Sr. Director will collaborate closely with the Strategic Initiatives team (PMO), providing critical system knowledge to inform the portfolio roadmap and support project execution managed by the PMO. Possessing very strong communication skills, this individual must effectively articulate complex system concepts and provide realistic recommendations. The ideal candidate will leverage deep business systems, process, and healthcare knowledge to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, embodying our company values of service with compassion, accountability, integrity, collaboration, and innovation.

What Will You Need To Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years progressive experience managing business systems, preferably within a healthcare or managed care environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading strategic technology initiatives, collaborating closely with operational stakeholders to improve business processes.
• Proven expertise with healthcare business systems, including claims platforms, home health solutions, or utilization management systems.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in assessing complex business requirements and translating them into effective technology solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of clearly articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience evaluating and recommending new technologies or solutions to drive business efficiency and operational improvements.
• Demonstrated experience in managing vendor relationships and effectively collaborating with cross-functional team
