Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the company’s operational functions and drive efficiency across all departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate, property development, and business operations with a proven track record of driving growth and profitability. The COO will play a key role in executing the company’s vision, improving systems and processes, and ensuring the successful delivery of real estate projects in Ikeja and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Operations Management:
  • Oversee daily operations across departments, including property development, sales, leasing, facility management, and customer service.
  • Project Execution:
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of real estate projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
  • Financial Oversight:
  • Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and optimize operational costs.
  • Business Development:
  • Support growth initiatives by identifying new markets, forming strategic partnerships, and enhancing the company’s service offerings.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Build, lead, and mentor department heads and operational teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and performance.
  • Process Optimization:
  • Develop and implement SOPs, policies, and systems to improve operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure all operations comply with real estate laws, health and safety regulations, and local government requirements.
  • Performance Monitoring:
  • Track and evaluate KPIs across departments and provide regular reports to the CEO and board of directors.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or MSc is an added advantage).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in real estate or construction, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or operational role.
  • Strong understanding of property development, project management, and real estate market dynamics in Nigeria.
  • Proven experience in driving business growth and operational excellence.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management and strategic planning.
  • Familiarity with real estate software and CRM tools is a plus.
