Reporting to the Assistant City Manager, the Director oversees the City’s critical infrastructure and plays a key role in advancing sustainability and resilience initiatives, including stormwater management, road elevation, and infrastructure modernization. The Director serves as a trusted advisor to City leadership and is expected to foster internal alignment, engage the community, and deliver high-quality, innovative services in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Public or Business Administration, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred. At least 8 years of comprehensive experience in a responsible/senior managerial and administrative role in a large public works program or related experience in a high-level municipal management position in a closely related specialty. A Professional Engineer (PE) license either currently in Florida or with eligibility for Florida highly valued.
