Job Summary
AMILI is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Technology to lead and scale our technology team. This is a critical leadership role responsible for the overall technology strategy, architecture, and execution to support AMILI’s growth and innovation in the gut microbiome space. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and a passion for building high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and foster a high-performing, collaborative technology team.
- Organizational Structure: Review and optimize the technology team structure to foster efficiency and quality in delivery.
- Technical Guidance: Provide expert guidance on technology stack, technology and data architecture, and data strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Agile Implementation: Develop and implement agile practices across all technology teams to improve speed, flexibility, and quality.
- Cost Optimization: Optimize technology costs and spending, ensuring efficient resource allocation and maximizing ROI.
- Skills Development: Train and upskill the existing technology team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Talent Acquisition: Lead the hiring process for new technology talent, building a diverse and skilled team.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and oversee code review and quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Technology Stack & Architecture Review: Review the existing technology stack and architecture, making informed decisions for optimization and future scalability.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in technology leadership roles.
- Strong foundation in software engineering principles and agile practices.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in leading offshore development teams, particularly in Vietnam and India.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling technology teams.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
