Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced Associate Director – Corporate Services Category Procurement to lead our procurement strategy across Corporate Services. This role is crucial for the successful execution of Qiddiya’s mission to create a premier entertainment destination in Saudi Arabia, contributing to the organization’s procurement excellence by aligning category strategies with corporate goals.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that optimize costs, improve supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with quality and sustainability standards. You will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to ensure that procurement practices support our ambitious project objectives and uphold the values of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the category procurement strategy for Corporate Services to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct in-depth market analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities relevant to the procurement of administrative services, HR, and legal support.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather input and develop category plans that deliver overall value to the organization.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring performance meets the organization’s standards, and negotiate contracts to achieve favorable terms.
- Track and report on procurement performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local content and government procurement regulations, contributing to local economic development.
- Foster a collaborative environment by engaging with stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on Corporate Services categories.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing category procurement strategies.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Knowledge of local procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
