NPST is a fintech company bridging the banking and fintech worlds with its product suite of technology and payments, for over 10 years. We provide software and digital payment solutions to the BFSI Industry as a Technology service provider. We function as a Technology Service Provider (TSP) and a Third-Party Aggregator Provider (TPAP), catering to stakeholders across the financial value chain, including banks, merchant aggregators, merchants, and consumers.

We got listed targeting SME IPO in Aug – 2021 on the NSE Emerge platform with a market cap of 2000 Cr (as of Mar’24) and became NPCI- an approved Merchant Payment Service Provider, acquiring merchants and facilitating payment. NPST has a marquee clientele having 10 Banks and 30+ PAPG and Merchants.

What Will You Do

The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving NPST’s market expansion by leading strategic initiatives in banking alliances and merchant acquiring. This position is crucial for establishing and nurturing relationships with Public Sector Banks (PSBs), Small Finance Banks (SFBs), Regional Rural Banks (RRBs), as well as Payment Aggregators (PAs) and Payment Gateways (PGs)..

Key Responsibilities

Market Expansion:

  • Drive NPST’s market presence in assigned regions and verticals.
  • Create and execute strategic plans to expand NPST’s influence in the financial services ecosystem.

Banking Alliances

  • Establish and nurture alliances with PSBs, SFBs, RRBs, and other banking institutions.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to form new banking partnerships.
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycles with an emphasis on bank partnerships and alliances.

Merchant Acquiring & Payments

  • Develop strategies for merchant acquiring in the payments sector.
  • Lead initiatives with Payment Aggregators and Payment Gateways to increase NPST’s service reach.

CXO Engagement

  • Initiate and maintain dialogues with CXO-level executives within the banking sector.
  • Create customized pitches and solutions tailored for senior management to drive growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Product, Operations, and Technology to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Build and lead cross-functional teams as per the requirements of the project.

Team Leadership

  • Build and manage a high-performing team to support business development goals as required.

What Are We Looking For

  • Proven track record in establishing and growing alliances with banks.
  • Experience in merchant acquiring and the payments sector is highly desirable.
  • Strong experience in B2B sales, with a focus on complex, conceptual solutions.
  • Proven ability to navigate and sell in complex ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect and engage with CXO-suite executives, especially within PSBs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to present and articulate complex concepts.
  • Strong leadership qualities to manage cross-functional teams and high-level projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, presentations, and business growth initiatives.

Education Qualification – Graduate

Experience – Total Experience: 10 to 15 years,

Industry – Fintech, Payments, Banking, BFSI (Not from Loans, Cards, NBFC etc)

Work arrangement – Work from Home

Location – Chennai
