Our client is a diversified conglomerate operating at the forefront of the Manufacturing industry with a wide range of portfolio in various industries. They are based in KL and is on a plan to expand and innovate its business further.

About the Role

The ideal CFO candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, FP&A, financial reporting and accounting, audits, compliance, and treasury. They will collaborate with the CEO and the senior leadership team to make decisions regarding company’s financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background and understanding in manufacturing finance and good stakeholder management. You will also need to be a strong communicator that is able to drive changes.

Responsibilities

• Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to CEO and Group CFO
• Drive financial planning and analysis (FP&A) including building the capabilities of the team in this area
• Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
• Manage relationships with banks, regulators and other stakeholders

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified with ICAEW/ACCA/CPA
• Strong track record in Manufacturing/Engineering industry
• 15-20 years’ of finance experience in a progressive role
• Experience working in Public Listed Company (PLCs)
• Strong finance-based analytical skills
