Oppenheim Architecture is seeking a visionary, strategic, and growth-minded executive to serve as our Chief Growth & Strategy Officer (CGSO). This key leadership role will drive the firm’s expansion by leading growth strategy, business development, and global marketing initiatives — all aligned to the creative vision and future trajectory of the studio.
The CGSO will play a critical role in amplifying the firm’s visibility, building strategic partnerships, and cultivating relationships with developers, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, hospitality brands, and global institutions.
As a member of the senior leadership team, this individual will also assess internal performance, operational efficiency, and profitability across teams to ensure the firm scales with intention and integrity.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset, a deep appreciation for design and luxury markets, and a proven track record of driving brand visibility and business growth in creative or adjacent industries.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Growth & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute a multi-year growth strategy aligned with the firm’s vision and creative ethos.
- Identify and activate new markets, global design hubs, and revenue streams (e.g., licensing, experiential offerings, brand extensions).
- Expand the firm’s geographic reach, client base, and market influence with a focus on long-term brand equity.
2. Business Development & Revenue Generation
- Lead new business development efforts by identifying, nurturing, and converting high-value client opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with developers, hospitality brands, UHNW individuals, cultural institutions, and aligned partners.
- Create and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities through strategic outreach, client referrals, and industry engagement.
3. Brand Positioning & Marketing Leadership
- Oversee and elevate global brand strategy in partnership with communications, PR, and design teams.
- Drive development of content, thought leadership, case studies, media strategy, awards submissions, and campaign planning.
- Strengthen Oppenheim’s reputation through consistent brand storytelling, earned media, and presence at key industry events and forums.
- Lead all aspects of marketing, including digital platforms, social media, website, and design publications.
4. Strategic Partnerships & Collaborations
- Identify, pursue, and structure strategic collaborations that expand the firm’s creative reach and brand profile.
- Explore joint ventures, design collaborations, and global partnerships aligned with the firm’s values and growth goals.
5. Sales & Performance Operations
- Build and maintain systems (CRM, sales dashboards, KPIs) to monitor pipeline health and drive data-informed decisions.
- Forecast quarterly performance, report on business development metrics, and adjust strategies in real time.
- Create scalable frameworks for tracking and analyzing client engagement, revenue performance, and opportunity trends.
6. Organizational Effectiveness & Team Alignment
- Lead and grow the business development and marketing teams across offices.
- Partner with firm leadership to refine internal operations, improve profitability, and align team structure with strategic goals.
- Implement scalable systems, processes, and incentives that support a high-performing, mission-aligned culture.

- International Market Expansion – Activate growth in target markets such as Europe, Middle East, and Asia
- Premium Client Acquisition – Expand and deepen relationships with UHNW, legacy clients, and institutional partners
- Brand & Thought Leadership – Elevate Oppenheim’s influence through PR, media, and global visibility
- Revenue Innovation – Explore new business lines such as licensing, digital extensions, or branded experiences
- Team & Profitability Optimization – Continuously refine internal operations for greater efficiency and growth
Compensation & Incentive Structure
- Performance-Based Bonus – Linked to revenue growth, partnerships, and strategic milestones

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or graduate degree in Business, Architecture, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Experience: 10+ years in growth strategy, business development, or marketing in design, luxury, real estate, or creative industries
- Track Record: Proven ability to drive brand visibility, win premium clients, and scale businesses globally
