Sparks Group, partnered with a dynamic, international manufacturer of high-quality sports equipment, is in search of an experienced and forward-thinking Controller to lead its global financial operations. This pivotal role oversees accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls, ensuring data accuracy and providing insightful analysis to support strategic growth. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, manage the close process, and handle lender reporting.
- Oversee daily accounting functions (AP, AR, payroll, GL) and ensure compliance.
- Design and improve internal controls and conduct reviews.
- Assist with ERP system configuration, upgrades, and implementation.
- Support financial strategy and growth initiatives with analysis and modeling.
- Lead and mentor the finance team.
Qualifications/Background Profile
:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA required
- 8+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and international consolidation.
- Experience in Big 4 audit, internal controls, or internal audit required.
- ERP system experience (implementation or upgrades).
- Background in consumer goods preferred.

Pay Range: Salary $160,000.00 to $220,000.00
