Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Controller with extensive healthcare industry experience to manage our financial operations. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in healthcare finance, with expertise in managing complex financial systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving financial strategies that support our mission of delivering high-quality regenerative care.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting:

Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Oversee the financial closing process to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in reporting.

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to provide detailed insights into business performance.

Ensure that financial reports comply with all relevant accounting standards, including GAAP and healthcare-specific regulations.
Healthcare Financial Compliance:

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing.

Work closely with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and reviews.

Monitor healthcare industry trends and regulatory changes, adjusting financial strategies and reporting as needed.
Cash Flow Management:

Oversee cash management activities, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs.

Review accounts payable/receivable processes and manage working capital.

Manage the company’s investment strategies and financial risks, working with senior leadership to allocate resources effectively.
Internal Controls & Risk Management:

Develop and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard financial assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Identify financial risks and provide recommendations to mitigate those risks.

Work with IT to ensure financial systems are secure and efficiently integrated across all departments.
Financial Strategy & Leadership:

Serve as the primary financial advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations to guide business decisions.

Collaborate with department heads to align financial strategies with organizational goals and operational needs.

Lead a team of accounting professionals, providing mentorship and ensuring a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

Assess and implement best practices in financial management to enhance operational efficiencies.

Stay informed about advancements in healthcare finance, including new technologies, billing procedures, and compliance updates.

Regularly evaluate and improve financial processes to adapt to the evolving healthcare environment.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).

5+ years of experience in financial management, with a strong focus on healthcare financial operations.

In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, reimbursement structures, and compliance requirements.

Proven ability to develop and manage complex budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting processes.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.).

Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to financial management.
