Founded in 2010 by two local entrepreneurs, the company specializes in architectural metal fabrication for both residential and commercial clients. They are a full-scope provider of miscellaneous metals for the commercial construction industry and have built their reputation by delivering high-quality craftsmanship and complete, turnkey fabrication solutions.

The Role

As Controller, you will be a key member of our leadership team, overseeing all aspects of the company’s financial management. You’ll be responsible for everything from day-to-day accounting operations to strategic financial planning and reporting. Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations: AP/AR, general ledger, payroll, job costing, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate job costing and financial tracking
• Support leadership in strategic planning, cost analysis, and financial decision-making
• Work with external CPA on tax filings and audits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in construction or manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of job costing and project-based accounting
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Foundation, or similar)
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial environment where flexibility and initiative are valued
