Director, Brand Consulting Overview

This role sits on Elevate Sports Ventures Brand Consulting team. The Brand Consulting vertical for Elevate focuses on consultative services and building platforms/programs within sports, entertainment and lifestyle marketing with domestic and international brands. As part of this, Elevate is committed to building greater diversity, equality and inclusion within our organization and in the programs we create for our brand partners.

The Director will report to the VP, Brand and will be responsible for working on the management of a new financial services client. A successful candidate will be a proven partnership manager that brings experience activating brand partnerships within sports in a creative & intentional manner. This person will work on the day to day management of the account across multiple US-based partnerships. The individual must thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment, be eager to take on new challenges and opportunities, as well as transition across a variety of sports partnerships based on the needs of the account & the overall business.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Elevate Brand client’s sports partnerships including partnership strategy, platform development & overall partnership activation
  • Ability to support the entire partnership management process from ideation & concepting to overall program execution
  • Skilled at building partnership marketing deliverables including activation plans & briefing docs
  • Project manage all partnership initiatives with brand clients & partner properties
  • Lead day to day account communications with all partnership stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with both internal and external partners
  • Work with the relevant Elevate verticals including Insights, Creative etc to provide the necessary support & services for our clients
  • Maintain strong understanding of the general sports marketing landscape to proactively identify relevant opportunities & trends for our clients
  • Attend necessary client events to provide on-site support & account servicing

Qualifications

  • Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant sports marketing experience
  • Sports agency and/or sports property experience preferred
  • Experience managing & activating integrated partnerships across sports properties
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Knowledge and experience within brand management
  • A curious mindset with strong work ethic & proactive attitude
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple work streams to execute programs
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and manage multiple partners and programs
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (both oral and written) with the ability to present ideas, activation plans, and recap results to senior executives
  • Real-time industry knowledge and relationships in sports + entertainment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint

Compensation

  • $85,000-$135,000
