This leader will optimize clinical operations, enhance patient experience, and drive quality improvement initiatives aligned with our mission to improve health outcomes for children and families. The Director will foster a collaborative environment, lead a team of managers and staff, and act as a key change agent in a fast-paced, high-capacity setting.
This position offers a unique opportunity to impact high-volume, complex neonatal care within a nationally recognized pediatric environment. The ideal candidate is a transformational leader with a strong background in operational excellence, change management, and a passion for advancing quality and safety in a highly matrixed organization.
Candidates for the position will be selected from a diverse pool and will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.
- Master of Nursing or related field is required or actively enrolled.
- Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
- Requires completion Clinical Specialty Professional Certification within 1 year upon meeting eligibility requirements.
- Requires 7-10 years of relevant experience.
- NICU or pediatric healthcare background highly desirable.
- Experience leading large teams in a hospital setting with a focus on neonatal or pediatric care.
- Ability to translate data into actionable quality improvement initiatives.
- Change agent with a resilient, adaptable leadership style.
