Director, eCommerce, Keys Soulcare

e.l.f. Beauty is looking for an eCommerce superstar to lead digital growth for Keys Soulcare!

The Keys Soulcare eCommerce Director is responsible for all areas that contribute to Global D2C growth for Keys Soulcare, including merchandising, user journey optimization, site enhancements, and promotions, with eCommerce P&L accountability. The Director of eCommerce will partner with the Brand, CRM, and Integrated Marketing teams to optimize online go-to-market strategy and lower funnel marketing tactics.

A scrappy leader with a challenger mindset who can sweep away overly-worn tracks and who can fearlessly zig when other brands zag. A successful candidate will be able to easily switch from strategy mode to execution mode while collaborating as a part of a nimble team. Finally, a passion for and experience in the Beauty category is strongly preferred!

Location in New York City or Los Angeles is strongly preferred. Remote candidates will be considered.

Detailed Responsibilities and Requirements:

Responsibilities

  • Lead ongoing site improvements and enhancements to engage better and convert the Keys Soulcare community
  • Collaborate on online go-to-market plans and 360 campaigns with Brand, Integrated Marketing, Creative, and Innovation/Product Marketing
  • Build detailed forecasts and long-range performance plans
  • Partner with Integrated Marketing and CRM on acquisition and re-targeting plans to fuel brand growth and repurchasing behavior
  • Develop and evolve A/B testing and personalization strategy to improve conversion and engagement rates
  • Manage P&L, aligning with Finance and Digital leadership on investments grounded in consumer metrics that will optimize growth
  • Generate big, bold, disruptive ideas – with sky-is-the-limit thinking – that will fuel digital programs designed to drive excitement and demand
  • Partner with Loyalty leads to deepen community relationships, improve LTV, and reward ‘ambassador’ behaviors

Reporting/Analytics

  • Work with Data team to develop and optimize dashboards to track and analyze KPIs across all digital points of sale
  • Collaborate with the Operations team on forecasting and assortment management, reporting weekly
  • Create monthly, quarterly, and annual business updates with succinct data stories that translate insight to action
  • Use data and analytics to influence quick and long-term wins throughout the digital decision journey

Requirements

  • 8+ years of related work experience in beauty or fashion with a proven track record of growing nascent online businesses at triple-digit rates
  • Strong understanding of digital ecosystem platforms and tools (e.g., SFCC, GA4, Contentsquare, etc.)
  • Past P&L management and forecasting ownership a must
  • Skilled collaborator and confident decision-maker
  • Ability to work successfully with multiple business functions and successfully influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization a must
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • A self-starter who can take the ball and run with it with a positive attitude
