We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Finance to lead our financial operations in the United States. This newly created position represents a critical step in Retail In Motion’s (RIM) growth journey as we evolve from a shared structure with LSG into a standalone retail and technology powerhouse serving the onboard travel industry. Based in the US and reporting directly to the CFO in Dublin, this leader will bring robust financial technical skills, deep knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, and a passion for driving transformation.
The Director will oversee all US financial activities—from cash flow, forecasting, and compliance to systems implementation and performance reporting—while partnering closely with global and regional leadership. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance leader to shape the financial foundation of RIM’s US business, influence strategic decisions, and enable long-term, sustainable growth.

Main Accountabilities
•Develop and execute the financial strategy of the group, to support the company’s goals in the competitive travel retail industry.
•Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to the executive team to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
•Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling processes to ensure accurate financial planning and robust decision making.
•Take ownership of the full local balance sheet and ensure its accuracy and compliance.
•Analyse market trends, financial performance, and key metrics to identify opportunities and risks, while developing and maintaining KPIs to manage company performance.
•Manage all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, treasury, tax and cash flow management.
•Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP and Group policies.
•Ensure compliance with local GAAP requirements, including tax, audits etc.
•Inspire and lead a high-performing local finance team, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous.
•Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure good financial processes with operational functionality.
•Drive the adoption of modern financial tools and systems to enhance efficiency in RiM.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
•Big 4 background is preferred
•Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience (PQE)Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and tax regulations.
•Experience in multi-country financial management and establishing finance functions in new regions.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Proficiency in financial software and tools SAP is an advantage
•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
