Job Description

We’re looking for an exceptional Sales Engineering Director to lead and grow our India partner engineering organization. You will align closely with Partner Sales Directors, product management, and engineering to help execute strategic partner development. We need a seasoned pre-sales leader with a proven track record growing a partner engineering organization.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop the partner sales engineering team.
  • Refine and scale the partner engineering processes such as champion development, practice building, service offer creation, and sales engagement.
  • Engage with partner senior technical leadership on strategic initiatives.
  • Lead from the front with the capability to develop and deliver solution overviews and demonstrations.
  • Drive the development of strategic partner plans.
  • Promote products and business solutions at conferences, forums, and seminars.
  • Collaborate with a variety of internal functional areas.
  • Provide input on product development or enhancements to existing products to product management function.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in partner engineering, sales engineering or systems engineering with at least 5 years managing and directing a team.
  • Excellent knowledge and prior experience selling network security technologies including but not limited to: HTTP and web related technologies, proxies, caches, firewalls, SSL/IPsec, VPN’s, DLP, anti-virus, spam and spyware solutions (Gateway and SaaS).
  • Demonstrated success working with Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Strong customer relationship and people skills as well as strong written communications and presentation skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to influence technical decision makers and executives.
  • Ability to travel frequently.
