Role Overview

McAfee’s eCommerce team is looking for a leader to lead the MarTech product team. Marketing Technology is a fast-evolving space that blends technical systems, user privacy regulations, and marketing performance. McAfee is looking for a product leader who can deeply understand the Martech stack—CDPs, CRM integrations, journey orchestration, attribution, consent management, and experimentation platforms—and guide strategic decisions around tool selection, data architecture, and activation.

This is a Hybrid position located in either San Jose, CA or Frisco, TX. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis, typically 1 to 6 times a month. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to one of the two locations and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About The Role

  • Martech Stack Strategy & Ownership
  • Define the long-term strategy and roadmap for the marketing technology ecosystem.
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage tools such as:
    • Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) – e.g., Segment, mParticle
    • Email/SMS Platforms – e.g., Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud
    • Attribution & Analytics – e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude
    • Consent & Privacy Tools – e.g., OneTrust, Transcend
    • A/B Testing & Personalization – e.g., Optimizely, VWO
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as a bridge between marketing, engineering, data science, and legal/privacy.
  • Translate marketing needs into clear technical requirements for engineering teams.
  • Ensure MarTech tools are properly integrated with the data warehouse, product systems, and customer touchpoints.
  • Enablement & Operational Efficiency
  • Design tools and workflows that allow marketers to:
    • Launch campaigns without dev resources.
    • Create dynamic segments and personalized experiences.
    • Track end-to-end funnel performance (attribution, ROAS, CLTV).
  • Build feedback loops to make campaign iteration faster and smarter.
  • Customer Data Management
  • Drive strategy for first-party data collection, unification, and activation.
  • Ensure proper event instrumentation, user ID stitching, and data hygiene.
  • Support creation of dynamic audience segments and triggers for omnichannel campaigns.
  • Privacy, Compliance, and Governance
  • Ensure MarTech stack complies with regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, cookie consent).
  • Partner with legal and security to build privacy-safe data flows and consent management.
  • Measurement & Reporting
  • Collaborate with analytics and finance to define marketing KPIs (e.g., CAC, ROAS, retention, attribution accuracy).
  • Support integration of reporting dashboards and performance insights.
  • Tool Evaluation and Vendor Management
  • Lead vendor selection and manage relationships, SLAs, and renewals.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses and ensure tools are well-utilized.

About You

  • You have 12+ years of experience in Product, Marketing or similar fields with proven domain expertise across Martech platforms like Salesforce, Segment, Braze, Amplitude, Adobe, etc.
  • You have experience scaling Martech infrastructure in comparable or more complex environments.
  • You have hands-on experience with marketing systems and strong understanding of marketing stakeholders’ needs (e.g., lifecycle marketing, growth, performance).
  • You have a strong analytical mindset with experience identifying KPIs and measurements of success such as CAC, ROAS, retention, attribution accuracy and more.
  • You have experience using and managing tools across a Martech stack like CDP, A/B Testing, Email/SMS, Attribution, Privacy and more.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and vendor ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with privacy-first architecture (GDPR, CCPA, deprecation of third-party cookies).
