We are seeking a VP of Finance for a prominent national beverage manufacturer. This role entails crafting, implementing, and upholding financial protocols and standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with industry peers to optimize production, operations, and commercial strategies. We are specifically seeking an entrepreneurial-minded individual who is self-motivated and enthusiastic about driving growth. This position offers flexibility, with the possibility of working remotely for 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce financial protocols and standards.
• Take ownership of forecasting in collaboration with sales, marketing, production, and operations teams.
• Maintain internal controls for revenue, expenses, team budgets, and organizational expenditures.
• Establish financial benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards in coordination with senior leadership.
• Ensure consistent application of accounting policies in compliance with US GAAP standards and stay abreast of relevant legislation.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general bookkeeping.
• Aid in the development of comprehensive reporting structures involving data analysis.
• Assist senior leadership in investor relations, presentations, and capital initiatives.
• Manage various tasks including contract negotiations, ledger management, tax reporting, asset accounting, and insurance renewals.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
• Proficiency in banking processes and financial analysis.
• Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance.
• Demonstrated track record of successful financial project management.
• Strong aptitude for building and maintaining relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CA.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft suite products, including Dynamics AX & Power BI.
