Job Summary
Consumer Cellular is seeking a Director of Product Management – Technology Platforms who will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and executing product initiatives across our MVNE platform, focusing on subscriber management, billing, payments, supply chain, ERP integration, and core system capabilities. This role leads a technically engaged product team, works closely with Engineering and Architecture leadership, and ensures platform scalability, performance, and integration readiness to support our MVNO customers and enterprise operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Platform Product Strategy: Translate company and customer goals into actionable product and platform roadmaps that drive reliability, scalability, and operational excellence
- Technical Alignment: Work directly with Engineering, Solution Architecture, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to ensure product requirements are technically feasible, scalable, and aligned with system architecture
- Subscriber and Billing Systems Ownership: Define requirements and roadmaps for core subscriber management flows, activation, porting, SIM lifecycle, billing, rating, charging, and invoicing systems
- Payments and ERP Integration: Own product initiatives tied to payment processing, payment gateway integrations, ERP financial modules, supply chain inventory management, and order-to-cash workflows
- API and Integration Management: Define external and internal API requirements, including authentication, payload standards, and integration use cases across carrier and enterprise systems
- Roadmap Prioritization: Manage product backlogs and roadmap planning, balancing technical complexity, business value, customer needs, and operational impact
- Data and Platform Resiliency: Collaborate with engineering to define performance, uptime, data integrity, and failover requirements for critical platform services
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the connective tissue between engineering, operations, customer success, and account management to ensure platform initiatives are properly scoped, tested, and launched
- Technical Go-to-Market Support: Partner with technical marketing, customer onboarding, and operational readiness teams to drive successful customer adoption and platform migration efforts
- KPIs and Delivery Metrics: Define and track metrics tied to platform performance, service adoption, defect density, release cadence, and integration success rates
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years leading technical product initiatives for platforms, telecom, BSS/OSS, SaaS, or similar
- Strong understanding of telecom subscriber flows, billing systems, payment processing, ERP integration, and API-first platform design
- Demonstrated experience delivering technically complex platforms involving real-time systems, database-driven applications, and carrier-grade scalability requirements
- Strong collaboration skills with engineering, solution architecture, and cloud infrastructure teams
- Ability to write technically detailed product requirements and user stories for cross-functional development teams
- Familiarity with agile development frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and API gateway technologies
- Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MVNE/MVNO platforms, BSS/OSS platforms, or telecom infrastructure providers
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP, particularly in telecom or subscription-based models
- Background in platform resiliency, fault tolerance, and operational readiness design
Certifications in Product Management, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure), or API Management frameworks are a plus

Pay & Benefits Data (in accordance with the Equal Pay and Opportunities Act)
Minimum Salary: $165,900
Maximum Salary: $248,850
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
