Director of Sales – Luxury Pre-Owned & Showroom Kitchens

Job Overview

Aurora Circularity, Inc. is the new brand from a team of Co-founders and Principals who have been in the business of selling interior products on the secondary markets for the better part of 15-years. We are the processing partner of Sustainability Angles, a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose mission is also dedicated to reducing carbon and landfill waste through the reuse of high-quality materials. Sustainability Angels takes in-kind donations of fully functioning interior materials such as kitchen cabinets, appliances, and bath fixtures. Aurora provides the assessment, logistics and remarketing of Sustainability Angels’ physical donations across the United States for purposeful reuse. Aurora also partners directly with the industry’s leading manufacturers, retailers, and distributors to represent and sell their open-box and showroom display inventory.

Based on substantial opportunity and impact, Aurora is building its presence and expanding leadership and management across all functions. We are looking for an experienced sales manager to be a player-coach and to manage our existing team of two dedicated team members, while building the necessary capabilities to become predictive and scale.

The best fit candidate will have the following experience:

  • Managed and built effective, consistent, and scalable sales teams.
  • Implemented and managed a disciplined and repeatable sales process that can be taught and scaled.
  • Exhibited a data and analysis-oriented approach with a reporting and pipeline focus.
  • Consistent record of hitting and exceeding target quotas managing individual as well as team performance.
  • Understands demand generation and how to work with demand generation resources.
  • B2C as well as B2B commercial experience a plus.
  • Inbound and Web-O­riented sales management experience.
  • Oriented with equipment sales and higher ticket merchandise.
  • Has experience with sales operations and working with cross functional teams to assure minimal returns, meeting customer expectations and minimal breakage and returns.
  • Experience in the kitchen, bath, appliance or building industry.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and oversee a sales process and pipeline management.
  • Oversee the training for existing sales associates (new and experienced).
  • ­Manage staff to acceptable professionalism and job performance.
  • Implement strategies for achieving sales and gross profits.
  • Possess a high passion for customer retention and Customer Satisfaction.
  • Complete all records in an acc­urate manner.
  • Update the CRM, assign follow-ups and conduct ongoing training.
  • Follow all defined sales operations standards.
  • Conduct performance reviews of staff.

Skills

  • Knowledge of kitchen layouts, cabinetry, and appliances a big plus, or at the very least an insatiable desire to learn it.
  • Must be a strong communicator, able to close sales both in-person and over the phone, comfortable throughout a negotiation with an infectious positive attitude.

Experience:

  • 5-10 years in progressive sales and sales leadership positions.
  • Ideally has built or grown sales from a ­small team to larger teams.
  • Kitchen, bath, appliance or building products experience.
  • Experience in Inbound and Outbound sales processes managing and building warm customer lists.
  • Implemented sales processes.­
  • Proficiency in Zoho, SalesForce, Hubspot or other CRM tools.

Work schedule:

  • Five days a week – Monday – Friday; 9 am to 5 pm
  • Location: Hybrid position – combination of work from home and in-office at our warehouse location, Morristown, NJ

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000 – $150,000.00 per year – high commission orientation
