Director of Tax Strategy and Planning (Accountant)

We’re Hiring: Director of Tax Strategy and Planning (Accountant)

Bring Order to the Financial Chaos of High-Earning Doctors-And Help Them Build Generational Wealth.

About us

We don’t just crunch numbers-we build freedom. We serve successful doctors who own their practices and are ready to reclaim their time, reduce taxes, and scale legacy-level wealth. Our coaching model is rooted in our 5Tens Lifestyle framework-helping clients thrive spiritually, in family, business, finances, and fitness. Our mission is serving others to fulfill who they were created to be.

As part of our Asset & Tax Team, you’ll play a pivotal role behind the scenes-making sure our clients’ books are clean, their taxes are optimized, and their financial house is in order.

Who You Are

You’re an accountant who doesn’t need hand-holding. You’re equal parts technician and strategist-someone who can untangle messy books, optimize tax positions, and collaborate with other experts to support ultra-busy clients. You understand what it’s like to run a business-or at least have deep empathy for those who do.

You probably:

Are an accountant with At least 10 years of experience in Tax and accounting

Are fluent in QuickBooks Online and can diagnose problems with a surgical eye

Love the process of taking chaos and turning it into clarity

Have experience with small businesses, S Corps, and high-income earners (ideally doctors)

Bonus: You’re curious about AI and its applications in accounting, forecasting, or automation

What You’ll Do

As a key player on our Asset & Tax Team, you’ll:

Take over and clean up client books in QBO

Work with other tax experts to maximize deductions, minimize audit risk, and execute strategic planning

Deliver books and reports that make our Trusted Advisors and clients feel like rockstars

Assist with quarterly tax projections and prep for year-end filings

Help develop and refine repeatable systems as we grow toward 10,000 members

Tools You’ll Use

QuickBooks Online (non-negotiable)

Spreadsheets, tax planning software, and reporting tools

(Optional, but awesome): Familiarity with AI-enabled accounting tools like Keeper, Relay, Canopy, or other forward-thinking platforms

How You’ll Work

Collaborative: You’ll work closely with our Coaches/Trusted Advisors-but they own the member relationship. You get to do what you do best.

Mission-Aligned: We value freedom, family, and fierce excellence. This isn’t a typical CPA shop-it’s a calling.

Growth-Oriented: We’re scaling fast. This role has long-term leadership potential.

Compensation

This is a full-time, in-office role based in McKinney, TX, with a competitive salary of $90,000-$115,000, depending on experience and strategic leadership potential.

We offer PTO, flexible sick time, and a values-driven culture committed to personal growth, freedom, and purpose.

As we grow, this position has the opportunity to expand into key leadership roles within our Asset & Tax Team.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Weekends as needed

Ability to Commute:

McKinney, TX

Work Location: In person
