Director of Veterans Services – Western Region

New Dawn Treatment Centers is looking for a National Director of Veteran Services to join our team. The ultimate goal for this position is to help NDTC become the #1 SUD and Mental Health provider of choice in the Western United States. for all Northern and Southern CA VA health clinics, . We currently offer gender separate detox and residential programs for Veterans and Active Duty service members and their families, and will be opening primary residential health facilities in the next 3 – 4 months.

We also provide our free supervised housing (including all meals and transportation) on a serene 10 acre estate for all Veterans who are attending our PHP or IOP programs.

The National Director of Veteran Services is responsible for establishing relationships with VA Healthcare clinics, VA hospitals, VA Community Care referents and other VA related referents who are responsible for placing veterans in treatment for SUD and co-occurring disorders. Your territory would be all of the West Coast, including Arizona, New Mexico, California, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Montana and up to Alaska.

This person must be engaging, have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable explaining all the benefits and unique attributes of our Veteran focused and trauma informed Detox, Residential and Outpatient programs and facilities.

Must have prior experience working with the VA and related entities, because in addition to placing their referrals, you will be meeting with VA Community Care representatives and their colleagues on a regular basis to ensure we are exceeding their requirements for delivering clinically excellent treatment at every phase of recovery.

This position also requires coordinating care and maintaining constant communication between the VA Community Care representatives and the Northern CA clinical team throughout the veterans’ stay in our facilities. Our goal is to provide clinically superior care to all of the veterans that we will be treating, from the very beginning to the very end of their stay with us, including our free aftercare and alumni program for Veterans.

This person will be responsible for ensuring that the VA Community Care team remain 100% satisfied with the care their referrals are receiving throughout their stay at NDTC.

A valid driver’s license, auto insurance and a clean driving record are required.
