Job Description

Business Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute the business unit’s strategic plan, in alignment with the overall company objectives and market trends.
  • Identify new market opportunities, industry trends, and customer needs to drive business growth and competitive advantage.
  • Define clear business goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs), and monitor progress towards achievement.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Lead the sales team in developing and executing effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and new business development.
  • Monitor sales pipeline, forecast accuracy, and sales performance metrics, and take proactive measures to address any gaps or challenges.

Product Development and Innovation:

  • Work closely with the product development team to define the product roadmap and prioritize feature enhancements and new product initiatives.
  • Gather customer feedback, market research, and competitive insights to inform product decisions and ensure alignment with customer needs and market demands.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in product offerings, ensuring that remains at the forefront of technology innovation and market leadership.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Build and lead a high-performing team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members to drive performance and professional growth.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the business unit, ensuring that all team members are aligned with the company’s values and objectives.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop top talent to strengthen the team and support the long-term growth and success of the business unit.

Customer Success and Satisfaction:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention by delivering exceptional service, value, and support to clients throughout their lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the customer success team to develop and implement customer success strategies, programs, and initiatives to drive adoption, usage, and loyalty.
  • Proactively address customer feedback, concerns, and escalations, and take appropriate actions to resolve issues and strengthen customer relationships.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of success in driving business growth and managing high-performing teams, preferably in the B2B business service, SaaS, enterprise industries (e.g. e-learning, online B2B platform, HR B2B service, B2B payment service and etc.).
  • Deep understanding of enterprise solutions, market dynamics, and customer needs, with the ability to develop and execute effective business strategies and plans.
  • Strong sales acumen, with experience in leading complex sales cycles, negotiating contracts, and building strategic relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, influence stakeholders, and drive alignment towards common goals.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of identifying opportunities, solving complex problems, and making data-driven decisions to achieve business objectives.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapt to changing market conditions, and lead teams through periods of growth and transformation.
