Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:
- Plan, organize, direct, and implement all administrative and program operations to ensure effective service delivery.
- Develop and maintain operational policies and procedures that align with organizational goals.

Financial Management:
- Oversee P&L responsibilities, ensuring financial controls are in place and resources are managed effectively.
- Act as a steward of financial resources, making informed decisions to support program sustainability and growth.

Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all program elements comply with Joint Commission standards and relevant state and federal regulations.
- Regularly review and update compliance protocols to maintain high standards of care.

Team Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing leadership team through constructive feedback, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Recruit and hire top talent, fostering a diverse and skilled workforce.

Accountability and Performance:
- Set clear expectations for accountability and drive performance results among staff.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing guidance and support to achieve program objectives.

Training and Development:
- Ensure all staff complete required training as designated by Newport Academy, and provide additional training as necessary to maintain a safe and healing environment for clients and families.

Culture and Communication:
- Foster a positive and productive workplace culture by actively listening to employee feedback and making adjustments as needed.
- Communicate the organization’s vision effectively, ensuring alignment and implementation throughout the program.

Community Engagement:
- Serve as the principal leader and spokesperson for the organization within the local community, building relationships and representing the program’s mission and values.
- Engage with community stakeholders, families, and referral sources to promote the program and its services.

Customer Service Orientation:
- Develop and model a culture of customer service that prioritizes the needs of clients, families, referral sources, and the communities served.
- Ensure that all staff embody this customer service ethos in their interactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required, Master’s Degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum of (5) years of leadership experience within behavioral health industry with a proven track record of growing programs and census.
- Minimum of (2) years’ experience working in an alcohol and drug treatment facility.
- Experience working with adolescent and young adult populations is highly desirable.
