About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Head of Supply Chain Strategy and Excellence to lead a transformative initiative in the global commercial supply chain. The successful candidate will be responsible for all end-to-end supply chain activities, including forecasting, demand and supply planning, production control, logistics, and order fulfillment. This strategic leader will be tasked with developing and implementing improved supply chain processes and KPIs, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies, and enhancing customer satisfaction and operating efficiency. The role also involves leading a global effort to design supply chain systems, managing a high-performing team, and representing the global supply chain in key programs.
Candidates for this role at The Company should be authentic leaders with a strong background in supply chain planning, design, and operations, particularly in global biologics or other highly regulated industries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic thinking, influencing leadership teams, and be an enthusiastic, customer-centric leader. Requirements include 15+ years of supply chain experience, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or business, and certifications in APICS, Lean, and/or Six Sigma. The role demands a leader with excellent interpersonal skills, experience in managing interdisciplinary teams, and a deep understanding of supply chain and operations processes, including GMP production, corporate strategy, and project management. The candidate should be a change agent, capable of managing complexity and urgency, and be adept at building strong relationships and driving decision-making.
