About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Compensation, Benefits, and Wellness to lead the strategic development and management of a comprehensive total rewards program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the evaluation, communication, and implementation of competitive compensation, benefits, and wellness strategies that align with the organization’s goals. This role involves leading the annual executive compensation process, ensuring the effectiveness and competitiveness of benefit programs, and overseeing the wellness initiatives for faculty, staff, and retirees. The Executive Director will also be tasked with maintaining key relationships with various campus committees and providing strategic guidance to the HR leadership team.
Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in HR management, business administration, or a related field, with at least 8 years’ experience in compensation, benefits, and wellness, including a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role. The role requires a deep knowledge of HR best practices, federal and state employment laws, and experience with HRIS systems. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to foster a cooperative environment. A Master’s degree, relevant certifications, and experience in executive compensation are preferred. The Executive Director will be accountable for the budget and directly manage the Directors of Benefits and Compensation.
