Are you ready to build your career by joining a global financial institution? If so, our client is hiring a Financial Controller – Compensation!
What You’ll Do
- Prepare or review monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close activities for carried interest compensation plans including mark-to-market revenue and expense, fund distributions and payments to participants.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet and P&L accounts.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly investment and compensation reporting schedules.
- Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders including Human Resources, Investment Management Controllers, Legal Entity Controllers, Financial and Regulatory Reporting, Tax and Morgan Stanley’s fund and plan administrators.
- Maintain and update strong control environment/audit documentation.
- Assist with Ad Hoc requests and projects.
What You Bring:
Skills Required
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or Business
- CPA candidate preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting/finance experience, compensation/investment accounting a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel.
Skills Desired
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to prioritize and complete deliverables in a timely manner with high attention to detail.
