What is the job about?
The Financial Controller plays a pivotal role in resource allocation and driving the company’s financial growth to achieve its strategic goals. Responsible for generating comprehensive financial reports for management, the Finance Controller enhances operational efficiency and supports sustained organizational expansion.
What will you do?
- Conduct bank reconciliations, execute journal entries, and ensure meticulous financial record-keeping.
- Develop and oversee company budgets, analyzing financial data, recommending strategic plans, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Establish and enforce internal controls to safeguard assets, mitigate risks, and optimize cash returns through effective bank balance and investment management.
- Implement and maintain a robust monthly reporting system to furnish timely and accurate financial insights.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to address management information needs and facilitate informed decision-making.
- Contribute to Business Plan development, crafting models to steer strategic financial initiatives.
- Coordinate audit activities, liaising with external tax accountants and consultants to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Tax return filing and submission, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and national regulations.
- Payroll review, verifying calculations and compliance with social security and labor regulations.
- Support to R&D teams in the financial justification and reporting of grants and subsidies.
Additionally, you will:
- Strategize to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with regulations.Manage accounts receivable and payable to optimize cash flow.

- Analyze labor costs and optimize compensation structures for efficiency.
What profile are we looking for?
Mandatory:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with at least two years in financial management and a knowledge of tax policies
- Proficient in Excel with the ability to leverage its features effectively.
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles and procedures, coupled with experience in crafting financial statements and leading month-end/year-end close processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and adeptness in its administration.
- Experience in financial consolidation across multiple legal entities (group consolidation).
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably ODOO.
Valuable:
- Experience in managing multiple legal entities under different legal structures.
- Master’s degree in financial management.
- High level of English
