Global Sustainable Business Integration Director

Job Description:

Your scope

The Sustainable Business Integration Director reports directly to the Chief Sustainability Officer. You are responsible for the accurate integration of Sustainability within business strategy and processes. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive relevant Sustainability initiatives.

Your key missions

Define Sustainability Strategy & related Commitments

  • Build strategy recommendations with industry trends and regulations requirements, in collaboration with Public Affairs and Legal teams.
  • Approve and monitor Sustainability KPIs to General Management, incentives and Sustainability Linked Bonds.
  • In close collaboration with expert teams (Climate, Social…), ensure creation, dissemination and implementation of environmental and social protocols within affiliates and functions

Be responsible for ESG Data and CSRD reporting

  • Validate reporting on ESG strategy, policies and processes
  • Challenge Sustainability performance with leadership
  • Build ESG data and tools strategy with Tech and oversee roll-out by tech teams.

Contribute to Sustainability Governance and investor relations

  • Prepare Board Sustainability Committees
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, and community partners, on shared vision for sustainability.
  • Represent Pernod Ricard with ESG analysts

Assess Regulatory impacts on Pernod Ricard business

  • Prepare business impacts of upcoming regulations flagged by Public Affairs teams.
  • Map compliance strategy in an extensive ESG regulatory environment.
  • Define environmental and social standards to ensure compliance in our operational sites.

Embed sustainability within Business processes

  • Embed Sustainability in M&A process to oversee due diligence and exploration steps.
  • Define common integration strategy of new brands, within similar timeframe for different pillars/teams, coordinating with the M&A, the Internal Audit and the Quality and Compliance teams.
  • Identify Sustainability Risks and mitigation plans.
  • Verify integration of Sustainability policies and protocols into internal controls processes.

Define transition financial mechanisms

  • Define internal financing mechanisms and priorities.
  • Represent Pernod Ricard in engaging financial institutions to obtain support in adaptation and mitigation actions.

You hold a postgraduate degree in environmental engineering , sustainability or business law

You have at least 15 years’ experience in sustainability related area , such as ESG, CSR.

You must have great ESG knowledge.

You speak fluently English , fluency in French would be a big plus. Spanish is appreciated.
