Group head of compliance monitoring/transformation (F/M)

The Opportunity

As a member of the Compliance Leadership team, you will report to the Group chief compliance officer In your transversal role, you will collaborate with the subject-matter experts in the central Compliance team of ten (10) persons and in operating entities across the Group.

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

  • Responsible for managing the Group Compliance Oversight and Monitoring Program
    • Collaborate with the leadership team to devise the Compliance vision and strategy,
    • Co-define the planning and execution of the annual Compliance Monitoring program,
    • Drive the development of a monitoring framework and methodology to review the effectiveness of Compliance controls in the first-line business processes and operations,
    • Contribute to the creation, planning, and execution of new quality assurance programs,
    • Support the execution of second-line quality assurance testing procedures in line with the compliance monitoring program,
    • Identify, recommend and implement improvements to existing policies and procedures,
    • Support the Compliance team in raising awareness and training on regulatory obligations across the Group,

 

  • Responsible for managing Compliance initiatives across the Group
    • Be the go-to-person for Compliance and Compliance-related initiatives,
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts outside the Compliance function, such as the Legal team, the Technology & Operation team, and the Information Security team,
    • Collaborate with relevant teams to adequately express compliance requirements for projects,
    • Participate in project steering committees to ensure prompt implementation of regulatory requirements,
    • Pro-actively drive the development of efficient databases and compliance monitoring solutions and tools,
    • Lead, design and execute major compliance projects across the Group, when required

 

  • Manage 3rd line audit points for the Compliance function
    • Manage the collaborative tools to track the closure of the audit actions,
    • Review progress and follow-up internally within the Compliance team of audit actions remediation plan,

 

  • Contribute to the Compliance Governance Committees
    • Actively participate in the Compliance Governance Committees,
    • Prepare and present ad-hoc content as appropriate,

 

  • Contribute to the development of the Compliance team members
    • Coach, train and support the growth of the young team members of the Compliance team
    • Participate in promoting a positive, collaborative, and trustful working environment within the team,

 

Who Are We Looking For

  • You have at least 7  years of experience in a role within a second-line compliance function and/or internal/external audit function;
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in program management and information technology in global organisations,
  • Your knowledge of the finance and/or payment industry will be well-established;
  • You are an analytical thinker who can both draft, and monitor on the implementation of, relevant Policies;
  • You have solid interpersonal skills, specifically you will be able to liaise and connect with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and Merchants from varying disciplines and cultures;
