Learner feedback is resoundingly positive and our primers consistently rank at the top of any platform they’re launched on. Basically, we have been one of the best-kept secrets in the digital learning space. Now, however, is the time to change that. And this is where you come in. We are looking for a growth-oriented, creative, self-directed content marketer with writing and branding superpowers to elevate our online presence using insightful and highly engaging content. Your responsibilities will span a mix of strategy and tactics, including: Working closely with the leadership team to build and lead Primerli’s branding and content strategy, defining our content flywheel, tone of voice, and content roadmap. This will include helping us tell our story in a crisp and compelling way. Aligning marketing priorities with our go-to-market strategy across verticals. Building a captive audience through value-adding content geared towards thought leadership. We believe that our marketing content should be as insightful and relevant to our customers and prospects as our e-learning content is to our learners. Coming up with ideas for content to be used across channels (e.g., social, newsletters, webinars, etc.) that will drive organic/inbound sales interest. Executing the content strategy with a hands-on approach: creating and then delivering the content via various marketing activities. Testing, measuring, and optimizing content initiatives. You will regularly report on content performance so that the rest of the team knows exactly what’s working, what’s not, and how we can best hit our goals. Building the necessary operational infrastructure (processes and metrics) to measure the effectiveness of different content activities and adjust our approach accordingly Primerli is an early-stage , high-growth startup, making this role different from your typical corporate job in a few ways: Do-it-all mindset: Early team members must move seamlessly from strategy to execution mode. In the last year, Primerli grew 8x, a feat made possible by our hardworking team, who were willing and able to roll up their sleeves and solve whatever problems came their way. Dynamic scope: Being an early-stage team member means your responsibilities will change on a daily basis: in 6 months, you’ll be writing your new job description! Equity compensation : As an early team member, a significant portion of your compensation will be equity, so this role is good for people interested in this type of risk-reward profile While the company is based in California, you will be working remotely with a global team and reporting directly to the CEO. Passion for content creation: You love storytelling, have an excellent command of English, and can create insightful and engaging content with a POV. Entrepreneurial drive : You constantly challenge the status quo, come up with better ways to do things, and take extreme ownership of your work. You are highly comfortable with ambiguity. Get-stuff-done attitude : You are energized by action, can balance priorities, and can manage timelines. You have good judgment for when it’s time to be fast and scrappy and when it’s time to slow down and get things right. Growth mindset : You value personal growth and helping others grow by giving and receiving transparent feedback Content and branding experience : 3+ years of experience in B2B content. SaaS and branding experience is a major plus. Business acumen : In this role, you will regularly write and speak (to a savvy audience) on a range of business topics.
