Head of Delivery EMENA (f/m/div*)

Job Description:

Kapsch TrafficCom develops smart solutions to make mobility safer, more sustainable and efficient for everybody. We design, build and operate traffic management systems including connected vehicles technology and mobility demand management as well as tolling services for cities, roads, tunnels and bridges around the world. We develop data and video analytics platforms, building on state-of-the-art technologies including AI, machine learning, big data and cloud services to enable the digitalization of mobility.

Join our team as the Head of Delivery EMENA and lead a regional team of senior leaders and project managers across various geographies. You’ll work on large, complex projects, driving quality and continuous delivery while fostering new business opportunities through structured approaches and collaboration with the regional Project Management Office (PMO).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team supporting clients with the setup and installation of technological solutions and products, including planning and configuring systems, developing solutions, and coordinating deployments.
  • Oversee client projects from start to finish, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and quality-focused delivery.
  • Manage project resources, budgets, risks, and changes, while ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Serve as a senior advisor and escalation point for customer and subcontractor interfaces.
  • Conduct high-level sessions for project plans and schedule development, and review/approve project plans in line with project strategy.
  • Monitor billing milestones and KPIs to ensure contracts are on track.
  • Solve complex problems and innovate within existing solutions across the full Kapsch portfolio (tolling, traffic, clean air zones, ITS, etc.).
  • Your Profile:

  • 10+ years of experience as a project manager for large-scale software projects in the public sector, with a demonstrated track record of managing projects of at least 3M EUR in size.
  • Background in the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) industry is a plus.
  • Strong communication, influence, and presentation skills, with fluency in English for both written and verbal communication.
  • Certified in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
  • Proven leadership experience in line and matrix organizations within intercultural environments, adopting a servant leadership style.
  • Solution-driven mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in managing relationships with third parties and subcontractors.
