As the Head of Digital & Business Technology, you will lead teams responsible for the successful deployment, utilization, and adoption of bank’s business technology solutions to include but not limited to Salesforce, nCino, Digital Banking, and Core Banking systems. This role involves delivering strategic roadmap items and achieving successful business outcomes by leading enterprise initiatives and identifying new functionalities to drive automation and increase efficiency across the organization. A strong understanding of business strategies and the ability to build solid relationships with business partners are critical functions of this position. You will be instrumental in bringing innovative ideas to fruition and overseeing all components of the technology platforms and surrounding technology environment, including capabilities, services, integrations, architecture, and data.
This role requires strong leadership, technical acumen, business analysis, project management, product management skills. You will work directly with various senior leaders, administrators, developers, Data, Network & Infrastructure teams, and Governance to ensure strategic alignment and adherence to enterprise standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in financial services and strong business acumen
- 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience
- Proven experience with Salesforce, nCino, Digital Banking, and Core Banking systems.
- Broad range of leadership skills that include a demonstrated pattern of successful delivery, relationship management of stakeholders, and leading a highly engaged and value driven teams
- Experience with multiple IT disciplines with a confirmed understanding of relevant architectural concepts
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and integration. Knowledge of process automation and available tools.
- Customer service mindset with ability to adapt quickly, make key decisions and think critically
- Strong communication skills; ability to facilitate technical conversations with non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate on overall bank strategy and communicate to executive leadership
- Strong knowledge of community banking services (retail, mortgage, small business, payments), digital trends, and vendor landscape
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across lines of business, vendors, and other support functions
- Maintains high standards of personal integrity and accountability
- Must be willing to work non-standard business hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends as necessary
