What You’ll Do:

The Head of Ecommerce- Racquet Sports will lead the development and execution of performance-driven marketing strategies to drive online sales, increase profitability, and enhance customer engagement for Wilsons Softgoods and Racquet Sports businesses. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in digital marketing, data analysis, and ecommerce management.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop and implement performance marketing strategies to create and execute comprehensive performance marketing strategies that drive traffic, conversion, and revenue growth across all digital channels, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
  • Implement and utilize analytics tools to monitor performance metrics, optimize campaigns, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) while identifying trends and opportunities for growth through data-driven insights.
  • Oversee the design, functionality, and user experience of the company’s website, ensuring it aligns with performance marketing goals.
  • Create and execute strategies to drive traffic and sales to the company’s website.
  • Lead and manage a team of ecommerce and digital marketing professionals, ensuring they meet performance goals and deliver high-quality work.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, IT, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of ecommerce initiatives.
  • Manage budgets and resources for performance marketing campaigns, ensuring efficient allocation and maximum ROI.

What We’re Looking For :

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Digital Marketing or a related field along with 7 to 10 years of relevant experience within the industry. This experience should include several years leading ecommerce and digital marketing initiatives, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial position or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other qualifications include:
  • The ability to develop and execute business strategies that align with the company’s goals. This includes understanding financial metrics, managing budgets, conducting market analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and scaling operations sustainably.
  • A strong grasp of technical and digital tools is essential. This includes understanding ecommerce platforms, web development processes, and cybersecurity best practices to protect customer data.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to manage and motivate a team of ecommerce professionals. This also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product development, IT, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of ecommerce initiatives.
  • The ability to utilize analytics tools to monitor performance metrics, optimize campaigns, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs). Identifying trends and opportunities for growth through data-driven insights is crucial.

What We’ll Provide
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $170,000.00 – $240,000.00 per year at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training. Please note that the range details reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program.
