POSITION SUMMARY: The Head of Employee Experience, Internal Systems is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, implementation, and management of HR information systems (HRIS) and technology solutions for the Human Resource organization. This role ensures that HR technology aligns with the company’s goals and enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive HR technology strategy that supports the company’s objectives and enhances HR processes.
- System Management: Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of HRIS and other HR-related software systems.
- Data Management: Ensure the integrity, security, and accuracy of HR data. Implement data governance policies and procedures.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through technology. Lead initiatives to automate and improve workflows.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with HR technology vendors. Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements are met.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of HR IT professionals. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Compliance: Ensure HR systems comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Stay updated on changes in HR technology and data privacy laws.
- Reporting and Analytics: Develop and deliver HR metrics and analytics to support decision-making. Provide insights on workforce trends and performance.
- Budget Management: Manage the HR IT budget. Monitor expenditures and ensure cost-effective solutions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HRIS management or HR technology roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of HR processes and systems.
- Proficiency in HRIS software (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday).
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Certifications: HR or IT certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PMP) are a plus.
- HRIS Expertise: Deep understanding of HR information systems and software (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday).
- Data Management: Proficiency in data governance, security, and analytics.
- Project Management: Ability to manage complex projects, including system implementations and upgrades.
- IT Knowledge: Strong foundation in IT principles, including software development, database management, and cybersecurity.

- Data Analysis: Ability to interpret and leverage HR data to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Reporting: Skill in developing and delivering comprehensive HR metrics and analytics.
