Job Description
- Legal Compliance:
- Develop and implement legal policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with local and national regulations, including related to Data Privacy and Protection.
- Advise senior management on legal matters related to the company’s operations.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the fintech industry and adapt company practices accordingly.
- Contract Management:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance.
- Manage legal risks associated with business transactions.
- Dispute Resolution:
- Handle legal disputes, litigation, and claims.
- Work closely with external legal counsel when necessary.
- Develop strategies to minimize legal risks and resolve conflicts efficiently.
- Corporate Governance:
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements.
- Advise the board of directors on legal matters.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Regulatory Affairs:
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and industry bodies.
- Obtain necessary licenses and approvals.
- Stay informed about regulatory changes affecting the fintech sector.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor’s degree in Law with minimum 10 years of legal experience and background at P2P Lending FinTech company (at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role).
- Familiarity with fintech regulations and industry practices in Indonesia.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen in resolving business issues from the legal perspective
- Experience in providing advice to senior leadership
- Confident and assertive in communication
- Solid proficiency in English is a MUST
