Snapmint is on a mission of democratizing installment purchases for next 250 Mn Indians. Of the 300 million credit eligible consumers in India, less than 30 Million actively use credit cards. Snapmint is reinventing credit for the next 200M consumers by providing them freedom to buy what they want and pay for them in installments without a credit card. In a short period of time Snapmint has reached over a million consumers in 20k pin codes and has powered over 1000 crores worth of purchases.

Snapmint was started by a closely-knit team of passionate bankers and technocrats from IIT Bombay. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements

  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance
  • Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with relevant RBI regulations
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Oversee all company accounts Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
  • Driving financial analysis, assessing performance metrics and providing actionable insights to optimize business operations
  • Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants
  • Motivate and lead finance team members by clarifying roles and providing helpful feedback
  • Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation
  • Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
  • Advance knowledge of direct and indirect taxes
  • Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports
  • Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities
  • Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
  • Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations
  • Assist the management in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members.

Experience Required

  • 10+ years post qualification(CA) experienceof overall combined accounting and finance and risk management
  • Added Qualification: M.B.A ( Finance)
  • Excellect communication skills
  • Must have lead a team
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
