ITALY- Industrial Chief Finance Officer

Position

Located on the heart of jewellery region, BMC has joined LVMH Group, in 2021.

We are now hiring our CFO (M/F), who will contribute to the management of the Company, collaborate in its economic development and heritage preservation. His/her role is to assist the Directorate-General in the definition and direction of the economic, fiscal and financial governance system, representing support for the formulation and application of economic and financial policies and for strategic planning.

He/she will be a guarantor of the fairness, completeness and transparency of the processes of formation of documents representative of the economic, financial and capital dynamics of the Company.

Duties / responsibilities

  • Works with the board of directors and other executives to establish short-term objectives and long-range goals, and related plans and policies.
  • Presents regular reports on the status of the company’s operations to the board of directors and to company staff.
  • Oversees the organization’s financial structure, develops strategic plan with business leaders,
  • Coordinates and supervises all administrative, financial and accounting aspects including tax compliance
  • Reviews the financial results of all operations, comparing them with the company’s objectives and taking appropriate measures to correct unsatisfactory performance and results.
  • Ensures the company’s compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards.
  • Main tasks
  • Drafts budget projects in accordance with the accounting principles applied by the company
  • Budgeting, forecasting, business planning and management control and analytical and industrial accounting.
  • Manages relationships with lenders and financial institutions (banks, insurance, leasing, etc.)
  • Manages risk assessment and management activities through the implementation of internal control systems.
  • Manages any extraordinary finance operations and support management in defining the group business strategy.
  • Manages and coordinates the development of the monthly / annual asset, economic and financial budget.
  • Manages and coordinates the review of the quarterly economic and financial balance sheet.
  • Coordinates and supervises credit management.
  • Defines, directs, and verifies inventory accounting tightness.
  • Coordinates and processes the civilist budget and fulfills its tax returns .
  • Ensures the timely and correct processing of reports, revisional and summary budgets accompanying them with variance analysis reports .
  • Profile

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in accounting and financial management practices.
  • Proven experiences as CFO in industrial environments.
  • High proficiency in English, French fluency will be a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • The CFO will manage a team of 8 professionals.

    was founded in Valenza in 2001, stemming from the mastery and understanding of Carlo Massavelli and Maurizio Bozza, following their consolidated professional experience in the sector.

    Starting from these early years with a small team of workers, currently employs around 330 people and operates two production facilities.

    The headquarters is located in Valenza (AL), while the other production plant is situated in Sesto Calende (Va).

    BMC is now part of CHAUMET jewellery and is one of its production plants.
