Lead S&OP Value Stream Partner, Obesity Brands

The position

As a Lead Value Stream Partner for Obesity at Novo Nordisk, you will have the following responsibilities: Act as the main partner to senior management commercial and finance teams, assisting in developing brand strategy and annual volume allocations. Proactively translate Commercial strategies into relevant supply chain actions with the ambition to make the best decisions for Novo Nordisk this entails driving a holistic approach in identifying risks and opportunities across different processes such as API, filling, assembly, and pack. Ensure optimum resource utilization and continuous process improvement along the Obesity value chain. Identify and flag inventory risks, and drive inventory level discussions across FG, SFG, and API levels, highlighting trade-offs. Qualifications To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to lead with influence. Strong resilience to drive change and adapt to new challenges. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Entrepreneurial mindset to build and shape the role. In addition to the above qualifications, we require a minimum of 5 years of experience within either management consulting, large pharmaceutical companies or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). We particularly value candidates with significant supply chain experience. About the department We are on a journey to take the S&OP process to the next level. Our ambition is to become a trusted supply chain business partner that optimizes the end-to-end supply chain with reliable data and transparent trade-off decisions. We have already taken a number of actions to put weight behind our execution, and early next year we will start rolling out our new Integrated Business Planning solution that will accelerate the Sales & Operations Planning process. The department is part of the Supply Chain unit within Product Supply. We are responsible for several key processes including the launch of new products, and tactical/strategic sales & operations planning where we ensure supply chain resilience & network optimization. We are a diverse group of around 30 colleagues from seven different nationalities with various educational backgrounds.
