What you will be doing
The Life Enrichment Director is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing programs and activities that promote the overall well-being of residents, addressing their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs. This position ensures that all activities foster a sense of community, engagement, and joy, enhancing the quality of life for residents. The Life Enrichment Director collaborates closely with other departments to create a holistic and resident-centered approach to care.

- In collaboration with the senior director, plan, coordinate and oversee diverse life enrichment programs that cater to residents’ interests, abilities, and needs.
- Plan, coordinate, schedule and execute Life Enrichment/Health and Wellness (LE/HW) programming in collaboration with the senior director.
- Assist the senior director in assessment and evaluation of LE/HW programming.
- Develop and support special events, holiday celebrations, and intergenerational programs that engage the wider community.

About you
-
- Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy, Gerontology, Social Work, or a related field preferred.
- Certification in Activities or Therapeutic Recreation (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior living or healthcare environment, preferably in an activities or life enrichment role.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
