We are seeking an exceptional Facilities Management leader to oversee our extensive Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) operations across India, encompassing 400-500 retail branches and around 10 major offices. The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with hands-on expertise to manage this diverse portfolio, leveraging cutting-edge technologies, data analytics, and sustainable practices to drive operational excellence and enhance user experiences across all facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive IFM strategies aligned with organizational objectives for a geographically dispersed portfolio
- Manage a diverse range of facilities, from retail branches to large office campuses across India
- Lead and mentor a large, geographically distributed team of facilities management and technical professionals
- Single point of accountability to client as Key Account Management contact point
- Oversee profit & loss of account performance, financial management, staff planning and talent management, vendor strategies and overall responsible for performance to client.
- Represent India to deliver to regional initiatives and program.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee team’s day-to-day facilities operations for portfolio, including maintenance, security, cleaning, and other support services
- Implement standardized best practices in IFM across all locations to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency across the diverse portfolio
Technology and Innovation:
- Spearhead the integration of generative AI and advanced technologies to manage a large, distributed facilities network efficiently
- Implement smart building solutions across major offices and adapt technologies for smaller retail branches to optimize energy usage, space utilization, and maintenance schedules
- Leverage data analytics to drive informed decision-making and predictive maintenance across the entire portfolio
Sustainability Initiatives:
- Develop and implement scalable sustainability strategies to reduce the environmental impact across all facilities
- Ensure compliance with local and international environmental regulations for diverse facility types
User Experience Enhancement:
- Collaborate with relevant departments to create consistent, high-quality workplace environments that foster productivity, wellbeing, and satisfaction across all facility types
- Implement and manage systems for gathering and acting on user feedback regarding facilities, tailored for both office and retail environments
- Ensure that workplace design and amenities align with evolving needs and expectations of diverse user groups
Data-Driven Management:
- Establish robust data collection and analysis processes across all IFM operations, integrating data from various facility types
- Utilize data insights to optimize space utilization, energy consumption, and resource allocation across the portfolio
- Develop comprehensive data-driven reporting mechanisms for senior management, providing insights on the entire facilities network
Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with multiple service providers and contractors across India
- Negotiate and oversee service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure high-quality service delivery across all locations
- Implement performance-based contracts that incentivize innovation and efficiency, tailored to different facility types
Budget and Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the IFM budget for the entire portfolio, balancing the needs of diverse facility types
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality across the network
- Provide regular financial reports and analysis to senior management, including performance metrics for different facility categories
Compliance
- Ensure compliance to law and regulations in account delivery
- Ensure compliance with client’s minimum audit standards
- Ensure compliance with JLL audit and compliance program
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role managing diverse, geographically dispersed portfolios
- Proven experience in managing retail and office facilities, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in each environment
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies in IFM, including AI, IoT, and data analytics, and their application across various facility types
- Demonstrated success in implementing sustainable practices in large-scale, diverse facilities networks
- Experience with smart building technologies and their integration into IFM operations for both large offices and smaller retail branches
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage teams across multiple locations
- Strong knowledge of Indian real estate markets, local regulations, and cultural nuances affecting facilities management
