Primary Responsibilities
- Directly supervises APRNs to help them provide exceptional patient care in outpatient clinic settings; as well as providing collaboration for PMHNP staff servicing a Partial Hospitalization
- Program specifically treating an adolescent population
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic records (Athena) and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Provides psychiatric care, medication assessments, and crisis response to new and existing outpatient clients
- Oversees clinical operations at multiple locations
- Develops individual evaluations based upon assessment data and provides therapeutic interventions as necessary

Required Qualifications
- Clear and active License (MD/DO) in state of Tennessee
- Obtain license in Arkansas before providing services in this location
- Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Psychiatry
- Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration
- 5+ years of clinical experience
- Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families
- Proven ability to obtain prescriptive authority in the states where this position will be performed
- Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Currently eligible to be enrolled as a provider in the Medicare program or able to terminate opt-out (if applicable) prior to starting a new position
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of Behavioral Health experience in an outpatient clinical setting
- Experience in a leadership role
- Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation – Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs)
- Proven solid computer and basic technology skills
- Proven solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proven expertise in treating children, adolescents, and families
The hourly range for this role is $110.34 to $190.87 per hour based on full-time employment. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
