President of Global Licensing

Job Summary:

As the President of Licensing, you will play a pivotal role in driving the licensing strategy for the organization both domestically and internationally. This position is based in our Miami office. This executive-level position requires a visionary leader who can leverage the power of the PEI Brand Portfolio to expand our licensing initiatives and partnerships worldwide. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing revenue opportunities, ensuring brand DNA consistency, and fostering strong relationships with licensing partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive global licensing strategy aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
  2. Provide visionary strategic leadership to the licensing team in an international environment, fostering innovation and creativity.
  3. Partnership Management:
  4. Identify, negotiate, and manage licensing partnerships that align with the organization’s brand values and image.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential licensing partners.
  6. Revenue Optimization:
  7. Drive revenue growth through effective licensing initiatives and product launches.
  8. Monitor and analyze global market trends to identify new opportunities for licensing expansion.
  9. Brand Consistency: stay true to the brand DNA and ensure that all licensed products align with the brand DNA standards and maintain consistent quality.
  10. Collaborate with internal teams to uphold brand integrity across all licensing activities.
  11. Contract Negotiation:
    1. Lead negotiations for licensing agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the organization.
    2. Work closely with legal and finance teams to finalize and execute contracts.

Qualifications:

  1. To manage an international business with more than 20 employees worldwide.
  2. 10 – 15 years of Global Licensing experience
  3. 5 years serving as EVP, President of Licensing
  4. Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  5. Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Proven experience in licensing, brand management, or a related field at an executive level.
  7. Strong business acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth through licensing initiatives.
  8. Strong Retail Relationships
  9. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
