About The Team
The Amazon Devices and Services group creates and delivers experiences that are great on their own, and magical when seamlessly working together to enhance the lives of our customers. As a Principal Business Development Manager, you will define, develop and grow key Amazon relationships and drive the strategy and execution of strategic partnerships for next-generation devices and services.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years business development experience in the high-tech and/or medical industries
- Demonstrated competence in working independently to structure, negotiate, and close deals with companies of all sizes
- Ability to communicate with and influence both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in engineering, physical or biological sciences, and/or MBA
- Ability to think strategically, innovatively and creatively, and juggle multiple priorities to make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; strong bias for action
- Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and make decisions, and articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences
- Demonstrated high judgement and willingness to roll up sleeves to do what is necessary to meet team goals

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
