Required/desired skills:

• ) Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• ) 5 years of experience as Database Administrator of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or higher.
• ) 2 years of Windows Server administration, including experience in Web application implementation in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.
• ) Working knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop .
• ) Advanced knowledge in administration and tuning of a Microsoft SQL Server and other relational databases.
• ) Experiencing support cloud and, especially, virtualized on-site instances using tools such as DH2i’s *) DxEnterprise or Nutanix’s NDB.
• ) Documentation of technical procedures.
• ) ITIL Foundation qualification.
• ) Skill in technical writing desired.
• ) Knowledge of migrating SQL to cloud or virtualized platforms is a plus.
• ) Familiarity with SSRS or other reporting tools.
• ) Ability to work with customers to elicit and help them define their requirements.
• ) MS SQL Server certification is strongly preferred.
