Job Responsibilities
- To lead a research team to conducted experiment-based research in areas of sensory physiology.
- To lead new initiatives in research project proposals
- To write up high impact research publications
- To establish strong international links with academic partners
- To actively engage with industry for knowledge transfer and research collaborations
- To mentor and provide support to junior researchers
- To participate team/laboratory management
Job Requirements
- PhD in food science, oral physiology, or other relevant disciplines
- More than 10 years’ experience of postdoctoral and independent research
- Strong lab-based research background in food sensory, sensory receptors, sensory neural behaviour,
- An excellent track record of research publications
- Excellent communication skills (e.g. writing and speaking)
The candidate should demonstrate his/her research achievements with an excellent track record of research publications, cases of successful funding, industrial collaborations, and social/economic impacts.
