Your role as a client leader is about understanding our clients in every way; being central to the relationship that Havas Entertainment holds. You need to understand what’s keeping your client awake at night, you need to be deep into their business – both operationally and strategically, to be on hand as a partner to help navigate clients through this and offer a firm point of view. We expect you to spend time with your clients, be at their offices, and be on their speed dial.
Internally you help bring the best of what we have to offer to bear; working closely with all teams to ensure the work is on brief and up to standard. You are the client inside. You galvanise internal teams around a challenge and bring in relevant teams as and when needed.

Sitting on the agency management team, you will shape and develop the agency’s direction of travel, strong delivery of agency objectives, vision, improve ways of working and contribute to new business.

Client confidante; debates and supports, tackles challenges as a team

Set the team expectations from operations through to planning, strategy and data

Keep clients up to date on industry trends and what this means for their business

Bring new news to clients; we lead in our expertise, we don’t follow / respond

Place the client’s needs at the heart of all delivery and build strong, meaningful relationships

‘Sell in’ annual plans / large Mx briefs across all channels to senior clients

To have completed Client Development Plans

Work seamlessly with all teams to ensure brilliant thinking is turned into brilliant implementation

Within all annual planning and strategic/planning pieces include a ‘source of growth (SOG)’ using the Analytics Team benchmarks and applying a contribution to conversation from media

Challenge strategy and ideas to ensure they are remarkable and inspirational for our clients

Recognise new areas of income via a strong understanding of the services Havas Media Network offers

Provide timely, accurate billings projections and keep commercial reports and forecasts updated

Understand specific client needs and work with the wider HMN capabilities to create and develop tailor made services and solutions

Make new business everybody’s business – act as an agency leader in new business by supporting new business and marketing in all areas including PR, case studies and award entries

Share responsibility with the rest of the management team for developing new revenue streams

Supervise / undertake additional projects beyond client responsibilities as requested

Work with the rest of the agency management team forming a high performing senior management team that inspires development across all corners of the agency

Engender an agency culture and an agency belief that allows people to suggest their own thoughts around the service we deliver for our clients

Instil a culture throughout the agency founded on our common and shared values

Provide a support framework that allows people to enjoy the work they do, feel supported and recognised with continual communication

Ensure the agency output is grounded in client needs but also delivers the ambitions of the agency

Work as a collaborative positive team player across Havas Entertainment, actively supporting each other and sharing learnings

Ensure the appraisal process is kept to for direct reports, taking ownership of your own skills development with full commitment and attendance to all training and development sessions

Take a pro-active view to talent management within your team, optimising the development opportunities for others
