Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of scientific content strategies for pharmaceutical advertising and medical communications campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, account, and strategy, to ensure scientific accuracy and integrity in all communications.
- Develop and review scientific content for a variety of platforms, including print, digital, and multimedia, ensuring it is compelling, accurate, and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Serve as the scientific expert and point of contact for clients, providing strategic insights and guidance on medical and scientific matters.
- Conduct thorough literature reviews and stay current with the latest scientific developments, clinical guidelines, and industry trends to inform content development.
- Present complex scientific information in a clear and engaging manner to diverse audiences, including healthcare professionals, patients, and internal stakeholders.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior medical writers and scientific staff, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-driven environment.
- Ensure all content adheres to regulatory and compliance requirements
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) in a life science discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in medical communications, medical writing, or scientific affairs within the pharmaceutical or healthcare advertising industry.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, compelling messages.
- Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to scientific accuracy and integrity.
